TERMS & CONDITIONS
THE GOOD LAND COMMITTEE, INC.
HOST COMMITTEE FOR THE MILWAUKEE 2020 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION
VENUE DIRECTORY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Good Land Committee, Inc. (the “Host Committee”) is pleased that your company is interested in being listed in our Venue Directory (the “Directory”), a group of event venues that will work closely with the Host Committee to maximize the benefits of the convention for Milwaukee’s restaurant and entertainment industries.
Once you have completed the online form, and your request to participate in the Venue Directory has been accepted by the Host Committee, your venue will be listed in the Directory. The Directory is a listing, available online, of venues that will be compiled and made available by the Host Committee to the many businesses, unions, organizations, campaigns, and other entities who will be putting on events in connection with the convention. It will be promoted by the Host Committee to convention attendees and participants looking for event venues to be used during the period from and including July 9, 2020 through and including July 16, 2020 (the “Convention Window”).
By completing and submitting this online form and checking the box that your company agrees to these Terms and Conditions, you (i) represent that you have the legal authority to bind the company owning and/or operating the event venue (the “Venue”) for which you are seeking a listing in the Venue Directory (the “Company”) and (ii) agree on behalf of the Company that the Venue is legally bound by these Terms and Conditions:
The Host Committee reserves the right to decline the listing of the Venue if in the Host Committee’s judgment, in its sole discretion, the Venue is not suitable for use by convention participants.
If on or before May 1, 2020, the Company is contacted about use of any part of the Venue during the Convention Window, the Company will inform the Host Committee of the name of the individual or organization making that contact, the nature of their event, and the proposed date(s) and time(s) of their event.
Any booking of any use of the Venue during the Convention Window will be accomplished using the Venue’s own form of agreement or contract. The Company will provide a copy of the agreement to the Host Committee promptly after it is signed. The agreement may be updated or modified by the Company at any time in the Company’s sole discretion. The Company shall have the sole and exclusive right to determine the rates and prices for rental of space and for food and beverages to be provided by the Venue.
